Do I need to touch my theme's code?
No. One click on "Add to my theme" opens the theme editor with the block already in place, then you save. No theme file is modified, and the blocks disappear if you uninstall.
Is my theme compatible?
Every Online Store 2.0 theme is, including Dawn and Shopify's free themes: those are the ones that accept app blocks. An older theme doesn't offer the slot, so you'll need to switch to a 2.0 theme first.
Does it work with variants?
Yes. The badge and the alerts follow the selected variant without reloading the page: shoppers see the stock for their size and sign up for their size. The Drop banner, on the other hand, looks at the product's total stock.
Countdown or instant restock: what's the difference?
With a countdown, the stock may already be in, but the sale only opens at the announced time: the banner locks the buy button until then, and subscribers are notified to the second. With an instant restock, the sale reopens as soon as Shopify confirms the stock, and the alerts go out right away.
How are my customers notified?
By email, sent in your store's name, as soon as the size they were waiting for is truly back in stock. You set the subject and the copy, you can send yourself a test, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
How is the estimated delivery date calculated?
From your shipping cut-off time, your processing time and the transit time. Weekends are skipped if you don't ship on those days, the calculation follows your store's time zone, and the countdown timer rolls over to the next day once the cut-off has passed.
Two badge rules overlap: which one shows?
Only one badge ever shows. The highest-priority rule wins; at equal priority, the narrowest range wins, because it describes the most precise situation.
Can I take just one module?
Yes. Each module can be added and removed on its own, from the app's Plan page. You only pay for the ones you keep, and switching mid-month never bills you twice: Shopify credits the unused part of the previous amount.
How much does it really cost?
$5 per month per module after a 3-day trial, and $10 for the bundle of all three instead of $15. Back-in-stock email alerts are a Drop option at $2 per month with 1,000 emails included, then $1 per block of 1,000 ($20 per month at most). Shopify bills you on your usual invoice, and we never see any card details.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing to do on your end: the subscription you approved in Shopify takes over. The trial applies once per store; adding a module during the trial keeps the days you have left.
What if I cancel?
The modules leave your storefront right away, and your settings stay saved in case you come back.
Where is my customers' data stored?
On OVHcloud servers in France. Email addresses are used only to send the requested alert, are never sold, and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Is the app available in French?
Yes. The app and the texts shown on your storefront are available in both English and French.
